Countdown to the 2013 Expo!

The Islamorada Foundation and the Morada Way Arts & Cultural District are joining forces to raise awareness and funds for these two local non-profit organizations.  We are asking local businesses and residents to “sponsor” bicycles which will be painted by talented artists and used as a creative, fun[d] raiser!  These bicycles will make their debut at the January 19, 2012 Third Thursday Walkabout and help kick off the inaugural Islamorada Fine Art Expo.

By sponsoring this green project, you will have the opportunity to display a series of bicycles in front of your business for a specific time.  Sponsors will also be given a hand-crafted bicycle rack for their business after the Expo.  The Artist and Sponsor’s name will be displayed on each bicycle during the duration of this fun[d] raising event which runs from November 17, 2011 - April 7, 2012.  All bicycles are for sale at anytime during the program with the exception of five, which will be retained for a raffle to be held on April 20, 2012 during our Third Thursday Walkabout.  Raffle tickets can be purchased at Gallery Morada or Backcountry Cowboy Outfitters for $10 each or 3 for $20 - remember, there will be five winners!
